Breast cancer care in Wales is provided through NHS Wales, offering screening for women aged 50–70 via Breast Test Wales every three years. Specialist care is provided by local health boards, such as the Cardiff and Vale Breast Centre, while organizations like Breast Cancer Now and Tenovus provide support.

  • Screening: Women 50–70 are invited automatically. Women over 70 can request screening by contacting Breast Test Wales.
  • Support and information: Breast Cancer Now (0808 800 6000) and Tenovus Cancer Care (0808 808 1010) offer helplines, support groups and information.
  • Breast centres: Dedicated units such as the Cardiff and Vale Breast Centre offer diagnostic, treatment and support services.
